If you educate a man, you educate one person. If you educate a woman, you educate a nation. Clichéd but true, educating a woman does play a significant role in developing a society. It enforces a multiplier effect as she is largely responsible for managing the household and directly responsible for children’s development.

Haiti - Education : Non-Formal Education Policy Outreach Tour

More than a month after the adoption of the document Non-Formal Education Policy, the members of the Working Group on Non-Formal Education of the "Ad hoc" Monitoring Committee and senior staff the Directorate General and several technical directorates are on a tour of popularization it in the various Departmental Directorates of Education (DDE) of the country, with educational agents and partners in the field.

Edo uses adult education to fight human trafficking

As part of measures to improve literacy among the citizenry, especially women, the Edo State Government has started resuscitating its adult and non-formal education classes across its 18 local government areas. The essence is to encourage those who did not attend or finish school, as well as the unskilled to further their education and obtain certificates free of charge.
